Applying to Beacon

Our Admissions Committee will spend a great deal of time with each student and family, ensuring that there is a deep sense of commitment to and an excitement about becoming a member of our school. Please consider if you meet the following selection guidelines before contacting us:

  • You love school!
  • Academically, you earn mostly A's and B's.
  • You have passed the 7th Grade MCAS test.
  • You have demonstrated, for at least the past two years, a significant commitment to an after school program or team.
  • There is at least one adult in your life willing to be tremendously involved in your education for the next five years.
  • You have a "can do," positive attitude.
  • You are willing to work harder than you ever have.
  • You love to learn and experience new challenges and opportunities.
