Beacon Academy is a coed, independent day school. It is important to us that families are actively involved. We will provide many opportunities for engagement, expecting parents to be committed partners in their child's education. It is also important to us that each family make some investment in the total cost of their child's education. The Office of Financial Aid will work with each family to determine a figure that is equitable based on financial circumstances.
Each student applying to Beacon Academy must be nominated. This means that an adult who knows each student will testify that he or she is a good candidate for our school based on academic performance, character, and ability to be a positive member of our school community.
Beacon Academy admits students of any race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School in conformance with all applicable law. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, financial aid programs, or athletic and other school-administered programs.
