Brian Baguma is a Senior Compensation Analyst in Human Resources with Liberty Mutual. Originally from Uganda, he came to the United States to attend college. He then went onto earn his MBA from Bentley College. Prior to working for Liberty Mutual, he worked in compensation functions for five years for The Gillette Company. “Think big. Network. Read a lot of books.”
Thadine Brown is an Administrative Assistant for a mutual fund manager at BNY Mellon. She grew up in Boston and was a Metco student at Lincoln Sudbury High School. “Accept failure. Sometimes you need to fail to move ahead.”

Abbas Mooraj is a project manager for Dana Farber in Boston. He previously worked in technology consulting for Deloitte Consulting and Ernst & Young. Originally from Pakistan, he earned his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and is now currently pursuing his MBA at Northwestern Kellogg. “Find something you’re passionate about.”
Maurice Licorish (Division Sales Trainer, NorthCentral Div., Comcast) told the students to “Dream big.” His guiding principles are “Focus. Discipline. Concentration.”
Mary Grimes Finley (Sr. Training Consultant, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care) had many life lessons to share with the students. She learned that “It’s never too late to educate yourself.” From her high school experience, she reflected “What are the consequences of my actions? Know that your decisions always have consequences.” “I’m good enough. I’m smart enough. I have something to offer.”
