Beacon Academy is a 14-month prep school for high school, the only one of its kind in the nation, which prepares Boston area students for the challenges and opportunities of independent and competitive public exam high schools. Students who have successfully completed 8th grade may apply for this extra year of rigorous academics, social, and cultural experiences. Our highly experienced teachers and staff work with each student and his or her family on every aspect of the secondary school application process.
