On Saturday, February 25th, Beacon Academy is hosting an all-day young professional’s workshop on urban educational challenges and philanthropy. This full day experience will convene 20 energetic and socially minded young professionals for an information and skill-building workshop to deepen their understanding of the educational, economic, and social challenges facing urban youth as well as providing specific training on non-profit management, the role and responsibilities of trustees, and the power and potential of philanthropy. Fifteen young professionals from a wide variety of institutions, including Harvard Law School, Citizens Bank, and Deloitte Consulting have already registered. Two Beacon alumni have registered as well. It’s going to be an incredible day!
